ForgePoint Building and Remodeling (“ForgePoint”) proudly recognizes individuals who serve, protect, educate and strengthen our communities.
Eligible military members, veterans, first responders, educators, government employees and seniors may receive savings of up to 20% on qualifying project components for projects with a minimum qualifying value of $5,000.
The Community Appreciation Discount is subject to these terms, project eligibility, applicable exclusions and ForgePoint’s general Promotional Offer Terms and Conditions.
These terms apply to ForgePoint Building and Remodeling and its authorized operating names and divisions, including ForgePoint Building and Remodeling, a ForgePoint Building and Remodeling company.
The Community Appreciation Discount may be available to qualifying members of the following groups.
The applicable educational institution must be recognized or accredited as required. Independent tutors, private coaches and employees of businesses that are not qualifying educational institutions do not automatically qualify.
Independent contractors, vendors and employees of private companies that perform government work do not automatically qualify as government employees.
To qualify for the Community Appreciation Discount:
Membership in an eligible community group does not guarantee that every project, service or project component will receive the full 20% discount.
ForgePoint may request reasonable documentation to confirm eligibility.
Acceptable documentation may include:
Customers should redact Social Security numbers, financial-account information, medical information and other unrelated sensitive information before providing eligibility documentation.
ForgePoint may visually inspect the documentation or record that eligibility was verified. ForgePoint does not need to retain a copy of sensitive identification after verification unless retention is reasonably necessary, authorized and handled according to ForgePoint’s Privacy Policy.
ForgePoint may deny the discount if eligibility cannot reasonably be verified.
The minimum qualifying project value is $5,000.
The $5,000 minimum is determined using the eligible project scope before the Community Appreciation Discount is applied.
The following amounts will not be used to satisfy the minimum project value unless ForgePoint expressly states otherwise in writing:
Projects below $5,000 do not qualify unless ForgePoint expressly approves an exception in writing.
Combining multiple unrelated service requests solely to reach the minimum project value does not establish eligibility unless ForgePoint accepts the services as one qualifying project.
Eligible customers may receive a Community Appreciation Discount of up to 20% on qualifying project components.
“Up to 20%” means that 20% is the maximum potential discount—not a guaranteed discount for every customer, service or project.
The Community Appreciation Discount is also subject to a maximum promotional savings cap of $10,000 per project. Where the calculated discount on qualifying project components would exceed $10,000, the discount is limited to $10,000.
The actual discount will depend on:
The discount does not automatically apply to the entire contract value.
The actual discount percentage, eligible project components and resulting dollar value will be identified in ForgePoint’s written proposal, agreement or promotional addendum before the agreement is executed.
Unless the applicable offer expressly states otherwise, the Community Appreciation Discount applies only to qualifying ForgePoint labor, materials or project components specifically identified in writing.
ForgePoint may apply the discount to:
Not every eligible component will necessarily receive the same discount percentage. The applicable written proposal or promotional addendum will identify the components and corresponding promotional value.
Unless expressly included in writing, the Community Appreciation Discount does not apply to:
Only one Community Appreciation Discount may be applied per:
Eligibility under more than one category does not create multiple discounts.
For example, a customer who qualifies as both a veteran and a senior will receive one Community Appreciation Discount—not two separate discounts.
Eligibility categories cannot be combined or stacked to increase the applicable percentage or promotional value.
Unless ForgePoint expressly approves otherwise in writing, the Community Appreciation Discount cannot be combined with:
If a customer qualifies for more than one ForgePoint promotion, ForgePoint may apply the single eligible offer providing the greatest available value.
Third-party financing programs remain subject to the financing provider’s independent terms. Using financing does not automatically make the Community Appreciation Discount unavailable unless the applicable written offer states otherwise.
The Community Appreciation Discount applies only to qualifying new agreements.
The discount cannot be:
ForgePoint may approve an exception only through a written amendment or promotional addendum signed by an authorized ForgePoint representative.
The Community Appreciation Discount will not:
For insurance-funded projects, the discount may be limited to qualifying customer-paid upgrades, non-insurance work or other eligible components specifically identified in writing.
Insurance-carrier approval or payment is not guaranteed.
The Community Appreciation Discount is calculated using the qualifying scope and contract value approved when the offer is applied.
If the customer later reduces, cancels or materially changes the eligible scope, ForgePoint may proportionately adjust or remove the discount if the project no longer satisfies the $5,000 minimum or other offer requirements.
Customer-requested additions and change orders do not automatically receive the original discount.
Any adjustment will be documented through the applicable change order, amendment, cancellation accounting or other written project record.
The Community Appreciation Discount:
The qualifying individual must remain a named contracting party unless ForgePoint expressly approves otherwise in writing.
ForgePoint may deny or withdraw the discount if:
If a discount was granted based on materially false eligibility information, ForgePoint may correct the contract price through a written amendment or pursue other remedies available under the applicable agreement and law.
The applicable advertisement or offer will identify any expiration date and the action required to preserve eligibility.
Unless the applicable offer states otherwise:
The Community Appreciation Discount becomes part of a project only when it is identified in ForgePoint’s written proposal, agreement or promotional addendum.
Oral statements, informal messages or third-party advertisements do not modify the signed agreement unless ForgePoint confirms the modification in writing through an authorized representative.
The signed agreement controls the project scope, price, payments, schedule, warranty and other construction obligations.
ForgePoint may modify, suspend or discontinue the Community Appreciation Program prospectively.
A modification will not affect a discount already incorporated into an executed ForgePoint agreement unless:
These Community Appreciation Discount Terms supplement ForgePoint’s general Promotional Offer Terms and Conditions and the applicable project agreement.
If there is a conflict:
These Community Appreciation Discount Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Nothing in these terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
